WooCommerce Custom Order Numbers is a simple yet powerful plugin that gives you complete control over your order numbering. Instead of the default WordPress IDs, you can set your own order numbers with prefix, suffix, date, and different generation modes.

How the plugin works

After activating the plugin, set the following in the WooCommerce administration:

• number generation type (sequential / random / by ID with prefix/suffix),
• format and width of numbers (number of digits),
• text prefix and suffix,
• date prefix with dynamic tags (YYYY, YY, MM, DD),
• rules for resetting the dial (daily, monthly, yearly, disabled).

When creating a new order, the WooCommerce plugin automatically generates a new number according to the selected settings, saves it in the order metadata, and displays it instead of the standard ID.
